Control System Pre-Commissioning

Contract includes pre-commissioning (OAT) support for HVAC and Process Control Systems throughout the current factory buildout. Mundial Group provided pre-commissioning management of the OAT teams and developed pre-commissioning documentation for field teams. The management also conducts daily pre-commissioning meetings with design, facilities and construction representatives, installation contractors and systems integrators, to track progress and identify gating issues in order to resolve and continue progress.

Upon completion of field review, instruments were configured, valves and damper actuators set for correct operation, individual I/O were tested and simulated through the PLC/BAS system to confirm function. Mundial Technicians provided troubleshooting support throughout all phases of the project and offered installation support, working with the installation contractors to show correct installation and termination methods.

In addition to pre-commissioning management, Mundial Group provided instrument technicians in the field to perform the pre-commissioning of the HVAC and Process Control Systems. This OAT consisted of confirming proper device wiring, labeling, terminations, tagging, installation location and correctness of installation were all field verified per the design documents. Discrepancies were recorded, reported and reviewed with the installing contractor to revise and correct deficiencies.
